General terms and conditions

Reservations must be made online using the form. For more information on our programming or activities, contact the education department by email at reservation@mccord-stewart.ca or by phone at 514-861-6701, Ext. 1207. Requests must be sent at least 3 weeks before the desired date of your visit. You will receive a reservation confirmation email. Payment must be made on reception of the invoice, prior to the activity. Cheque, credit card or bank transfer are accepted. It is possible to cancel the reservation free of charge at least 2 week before the date of the visit. No cancellation will be accepted after this deadline, and you will be invoiced the full rate. Modifications to reservations are subject to availability, and must be requested by email at least 2 weeks before the desired date of the visit. Requests sent after this deadline will be treated on a case-by-case basis depending on availability. You will receive a confirmation email if your request for change has been accepted. Decorations: Parents may bring their own decorations (banners, balloons, etc.), but these must be approved by the Museum at the time of booking. Food and drink: any snacks provided (cake, sweets, juice, etc.) are the parents’ responsibility. As part of its eco-friendly approach, the Museum offers reusable tableware (tablecloth, plates, forks, spoons, knives and glasses). A refrigerator is available for parents. As the Museum complies with current conservation standards, a number of rules must be observed on the premises during children’s parties. It is strictly forbidden to light candles, open pressurized bottles in the vicinity of exhibition areas, or use any object that creates smoke, steam, bubbles or foam. Confetti is also prohibited.
